Music Lessons with Full Scale

Full Scale School of Music, led by Daniel Driskell, boasts some of the best teachers and performers in the area. With nine teachers and over 100 students ranging from ages 4 to 94, students have the opportunity to participate in private lessons, group classes, summer camps, concerts, community outreach, and more! The program’s mission is to develop students of all ages to the best of their musical potential. Find our more at www.fullscaleschool.com.

PRIVATE Music Lessons

Private music lessons provide a time for students to receive individual attention on their instrument. The instructors at Full Scale School of Music encourage and develop each student’s potential using a variety of techniques that allow for self expression through music. Each faculty member has extensive training in music and years of experience.

Students are encouraged to play at many events during the year including a Halloween concert, nursing home concerts, Piano Virtuoso Competition, Christmas concerts, Sonata Contest, and the Spring Recital to gain as much performance experience as possible while in our program. Group classes and private lessons

Summer Camps and Group Classes

Two of Full Scale’s most popular offerings are Rock Band Class and Rock Band Camp, where elementary, middle, and high school aged students can work with music teachers in an ensemble setting to form a band to play popular music. Usually these groups include keyboard players, a drummer, guitar, bass and vocals but can also include brass and strings. Full Scale Bands have played in the West Mobile Christmas Parade, at Art Walk, the Distinguished Young Women Talent Show, Mardi Gras Parades, Recitals, and in downtown Mobile establishments like the Listening Room and Iron Hand Brewery.

The future vision for Full Scale is to have ample space for a keyboard lab, a new grand piano, percussion studio, and a full music library.
